Bule Germany Begging Threatened Deported from Indonesia
Jakarta - Benjamin, bule beggars of this German citizen threatened with deportation from Indonesia. Although his passport has not expired, the immigration authorities will deport, as it is considered in violation of the law on immigration.
"Passport in question is still valid. But it could be our deportation, because the relevant activities to beg, it's not allowed," said Agung Pramono, Head of Monitoring and Enforcement Immigration Office Classroom i Special Surabaya, Sunday (09/11/2016) .
He affirmed that the foreigner may only visit to Indonesia, as long as it provides benefits, not create problems and not burden the government of Indonesia.
"There is no problem no stranger to Indonesia, as long as it provides benefits for example as an investor. Traveling the funds should also be spent in Indonesia," he said.
"But if it comes to Indonesia begging, it can not. Why come here but for trouble. Moreover, he brings an infectious disease (elephantiasis)," he explained.
Benjamin entered Indonesia through Jakarta on August 20, 2016 last. Foreigners who come in Indonesia, are also not allowed to carry the disease.
