Rio 2016: Kurt Fearnley wins bronze in men's 5,000m at Paralympic Games
Kurt Fearnley has won bronze in the 5,000 metres T54 at the Paralympic Games in Rio.
Thailand's Prawat Wahoram took out first place and was closely followed by Switzerland's Marcel, Hug.
Fearnley won gold in the event at the 2004 Athens Games before taking out silver behind Wahoram in Beijing and David Weir in London.
The 35-year-old is also scheduled to compete in the T53/54 1,500 metres, marathon and 4x400 metres.
Fearnley is a two-time winner of the marathon — in 2004 and 2008 — but finished third at London 2012.
